**Adversa Recruitment** is currently working with a leading provider of homeless services in Derby. Dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, they offer safe accommodation, essential services, and pathways to independence. With a commitment to making a positive impact, they are seeking a resilient **Business Support Officer** to join their team.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks within the homeless service office.
- Handle financial transactions, including invoicing, budget tracking, and expense reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with organizational policies.
- Support data management activities using Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering processes for office supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including B2B interactions.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges in day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within social services.
- Strong financial management skills with budget handling experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
- Experience in managing bookings and coordinating schedules.
- Excellent phone communication skills and customer service orientation, including B2B communication.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Resilience and adaptability to navigate challenges effectively.
