**Account Lead - Food & Beverage**
£65,000 - £75,000 + £4,000 Flex allowance, up to 20% bonus and benefits
40 hours, Monday - Friday. Hybrid working available.
Are you an experienced Account Lead within food and beverage and/or hospitality sector that is looking for a new role?
We have over 100 retail and food and beverage units at London Gatwick. We work with world leading retailers and brands who operate outlets within our terminals.
This role will be responsible for managing the relationships with our retail partners, negotiating contracts for new and existing units and running competitive bid process to bring new brands / operators to the airport.
**What is the role?**
The Account Lead will liaise with retail operations and projects teams to ensure new and existing brands open on time and in line with the concept agreed and use the contract lifecycle to ensure trading performance is actively managed.
Delivers category strategy objectives for account areas and contributes to category strategy for broader retail function.
- Drives overall income through contract management and robust negotiations.
- Budgets and re-forecasts income performance.
- Contributes to business planning and category planning cycle.
- Models and analyses financial proposals, preparing documents and papers to secure approval for contracts.
- Improves team by acting as a mentor / specialist point of contact.
**What are we looking for?**
- Demonstrable experience of negotiating and improving commercial contracts
- Substantial experience of working with legal documents, understanding of contractual terms and options, working closely with legal advisors
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, business development and negotiation skills
- Proven business acumen - highly numerate - proven track record in financial analysis and appraisal of deals
- Capable of working in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment with multiple projects - able to manage conflicting priorities
- Commercially astute, self starter - driven with the ability to prioritise in line with business goals
