**JOB DESCRIPTION - Supply Chain Assistant**
**Salary**: £23,000p.a. - £25,000p.a. dependant on experience
**Benefits include**:
- 22 days holiday per annum, increasing to 25 after one full years’ service
- Hybrid working policy, working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home

Job PurposeOur client is a global, multichannel gift and gadget company that is comprised of both retail and wholesale businesses. They are one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing retail operators in the gifts and gadgets industry, with 45 stores currently open across the UK.The Supply Chain department is responsible for managing $20Million of stock through an extensive critical path, ensuring all stock is imported into the UK on time to meet the needs of the retail stores, as well as overseeing the manufacture and delivery of stock on behalf of big high street retailers
**Responsibilities**:
- Raise, check and send orders to suppliers promptly.
- Request, check and approve carton marks.
- Request, check and approve preshipment photographs.
- Request, check and approve shipping documentation and ensure it is sent to our forwarder on time.
- Making sure the supply chain system is accurate and up to date.
- Work with the accounts team to make sure deposits and balance payments are made on time.
- Create weekly and daily reports for the wider business.
- Assist with annual compliance submissions.
- Ad hoc duties.
- Other general administration duties.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure new items and orders are raised and sent out in a timely manner.
- Ensure reports and submissions are completed by deadlines set
Experience Required
- Excellent time management skills, able to easily manage various tasks at once.
- High attention to detail, able to easily identify issues and mistakes.
- Proactive approach to work
- Good administration skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn.
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
