We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or care facilities
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Collaborate with case managers and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and home care practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient nature

**Salary**: £11.02-£11.77 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 66 per week
