ROLE SUMMARY
- This role has responsibilities aimed at maintaining the quality of data held within Electronic Staff Record, this would range from auditing workforce records, data entry / cleansing, receiving and disseminating information, and the provision of routine reports by retrieving accurate data from the relevant source.

The post requires a resilient, methodical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse, interpret and resolve problems, as well as being an technical expert in relation to data input with a high level of accuracy.
- This post with be remotely working from home with some travel into the office in Essex
- To support with Trust wide workforce data validation and cleanse exercise
- To ensure high quality system data entry is carried out in ESR in line with local and national standards
- Follow Trust and ESR best practice procedures and protocols when inputting data
- To liaise with business unit leads and individual members of the workforce as and when required to resolve any data validation / cleanse issues
- Inform line manager as soon as possible of any new data quality issues which become apparent. Explore and suggest ways of responding to data quality issues
- Carry out audits of workforce data, identifying data quality issues affecting work with the team to improve processes, and avoid a recurrence, correcting errors as and when requested to support project work

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

- Carry out audits of workforce data, identifying data quality issues affecting work with the team to improve processes, and avoid a recurrence, correcting errors as and when requested to support project work
- Assist / train new members of staff when required
- Support members of the team in project work and the development of new processes and process mapping
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a suite of Data Quality Team reports
- Arrange meetings and training events for the team as and when requested
- Act as a note taker at meetings as required, taking and distributing actions
- Provide any other administrative support as needed by the team
