Head of Talent

1.Lead the development and implementation of the business’s strategy for Talent Management, Leadership, Organisational Development to build the key capabilities required to deliver against the clients business priorities as part of the People Strategy and industry alignment
3.Develop and implement talent policies, tools and activity across the organisation and deliver key systems and processes to drive simplicity, insight and action on Talent.
4.Lead on the provision of a broad range of interventions and innovative solutions to implement learning and development strategies across the business to drive organisational and profession performance
5.Build capability among HR generalists and business leaders to assist in the delivery of local people development plans. Understand at a portfolio level where the clients future talent pool are and where potential risk areas including the development of solutions.
6.Drive the continual review and development of the transitional, accelerated, bespoke and graduate/apprenticeship leadership content and programmes (including the coaching pool) to deliver against the clients business priorities as part of the People Plan.
7.Lead on the creation of behavioural models, ways of working and assessment of capabilities to equip teams and business areas with the necessary tools and resources to achieve desired functional outcomes.
8.Identify, develop, and evaluate key Talent programmes across the organisation to support the overall development of capability, embedding through engagement with key stakeholders.
9.Analyse and evaluate learning offerings and services, collaborating proactively as an intelligent client to the company's Training and other related suppliers, to identify which business areas and talent pools to invest in.
10.Maintain the Organisational Development budget, providing timely information and insights to help drive the right behaviours, decision making and focus for future investment.
11.Manage the collaboration across the relevant centre of excellence functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and practices which work congruently to plan, attract, develop, assess, deploy and retain the people that the client needs.
This role requires an appropriate academic background with an MSc in Occupational Psychology or Organisational Development or similar, you will preferably be a chartered Occupational Psychologist and have significant experience and knowledge of assessment tools and be relatable and personable to colleagues
This role will have impact on all staff with the clients organisation and would suit someone with some experience of working with apprenticeships schemes and who has an understanding of working with a broad range of skillsets within the workforce from manual through to executive leadership
**Salary**: £80,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
