Job Overview:
We are looking for a Accounts Assistant to be part of a small team and are able to adapt quickly to tasks, be flexible, have excellent time management skills and be able to communicate easily with colleagues. The role would require you to see tasks through from start to finish and take ownership of what is required. Training, guidance and support will be there when needed, all we require is enthusiasm and a willingness to maintain a high standard in your work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Process invoices, post bank transactions and allocate receipts in accounting software
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Collaborate with procurement to resolve any issues or inquiries related to invoices or payments
- Coordinating customer, supplier and internal finance queries and directing to an appropriate department
- Credit control
- Some admin duties

**Requirements**:

- Have a strong work ethic, are self motivated and an eagerness to learn new skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Experience and Qualifications:

- A good knowledge of Microsoft office (especially excel)
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Role is office based, no option to work remotely

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
