**Job summary**:
We are looking for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills to join the Trust Clinical Governance and Patient Safety department.

Our department supports the delivery of clinical governance, patient safety and clinical compliance in line with the Trust's governance and quality agenda. We currently have a vacancy within the Governance Facilitation Team.

The successful person will be enthusiastic about improving services for our patients and staff, and will have the ability to adapt and work within our supportive multi-disciplinary team.

We're looking for someone who:

- is able to work flexibly and responsively to the needs of the service and the wider Trust.
- has experience and an understanding of working within a clinical governance team or undertaking those tasks, however this is not essential as development opportunities and training will be provided.
- is computer literate, has experience in using everyday spreadsheet packages, can manage large amounts of data and is able to extract information for reporting

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Working as part of a busy team you will support the promotion and facilitation of effective clinical governance, safety, and risk management across multiple Divisions.

This will include:

- implementation and monitoring of incident and risk management processes along with providing support with the co-ordination, implementation and delivery.
- reviewing & escalating incidents in line with local and national guidance.
- responsibility for ensuring accurate and efficient systems are followed to track and monitor incidents and action plans.
- assisting in the development and ongoing use of an efficient electronic database
- extracting data from electronic systems for use in reports and presentations
