**Job Description**:
The Patent Administrator will report to the Vice President, Head of Intellectual Property and sit within our Legal function.

You will be responsible for Bicycle’s internal IP tracking and management system and therefore will have outstanding organizational skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enter required deadlines into the Patent Management system and forward renewal reminders and correspondence that contain renewal dates from outside counsel to Righthub.
- Scan and save all correspondence to the Patent Management system under its case reference.
- Ensure all new cases and updates are recorded on the IP chart on a monthly basis.
- Report all new filings, publication notices, allowances and grants to Righthub.
- Update the Patent Management system with new filings, allowances, publications notices and grants.
- Scan and save all registration certificates to the Patent Management system. Label original certificates and put them into a fire proof safe.
- Organise the signing and returning of Assignments (Assignments requiring Apostille), Declarations and Powers of Attorney to associates. Save all of the above-signed documents to the Patent Management system.
- Ensure all incoming invoices have been copied to Finance and carry out a preliminary review of all incoming invoices to cross check with work carried out.
- Provide all updates relating to the IP portfolio that are required for the preparation of financial documents.

**Qualifications**:

- CIPA-qualified patent administrator
- Demonstrable experience in all aspects of patent administration and formalities, from filing through to grant
- Exceptional organization, communication, and problem solving skills
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (desirable, not essential)
