Your new role:
**About the role**:
The post holder will be the single point of contact for building users and occupiers within a designated property portfolio, and will facilitate the delivery of projects, maintenance, refurbishment and facilities management services on their behalf.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage and monitor the value for money delivery of services, works and contracts to assets within the portfolio.
- To provide advice and guidance on maintenance, compliance, refurbishment, and facilities management services and contribute to the development and implementation of specialised aspects of the service as determined by the Service Lead.
- To ensure accurate data on assets is collated and maintained within a portfolio. To utilise effective communication systems that maintain the free flow of data/information to customers and clients.
- To advise the Service Lead and Helpdesk on reactive maintenance issues.
- To investigate complaints, problems or other issues involving the service and action their resolution in order to maintain and improve the quality of services.
- Keep the Service Lead informed on all matters relating to delivery of projects which may be pertinent to the effective management of property.
- Represent the section at meetings as appropriate including public and private agencies and public/stakeholder meetings.

**About you**:
You will be professionally competent in identifying and implementing strategies for reducing the costs associated with holding a large portfolio of assets and supporting development of accommodation strategy / an Asset Management Plan. You will have an understanding of the legislation and statutory framework affecting property management in the public sector. You'll enjoy and be able to analyse facts, figures and situations and think creatively about problems and opportunities.
