National Facilities Manager

Our client, a well-known retail company, is on the lookout for a National Facilities Manager to join their team at the Head Office in Bolton. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing operations at retail outlets, Head Office, Warehouse, and residential properties.
About the Role:
- Managing fixed assets registers and planning necessary maintenance and service contracts
- Contribution to annual budgeting process for facilities costs
- Conducting site visits, generating reports, and developing operating procedures for maintenance activities
- Overseeing vacant property assets and implementing risk management strategies
- Managing facilities and service providers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing tender processes
- Leading and managing a team of staff
- Regularly updating senior stakeholders on progress
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across the property portfolio
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in facilities management across multiple sites
- Ideally, a background as a Qualified Surveyor or similar experience, although not essential
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Flexible approach to work including occasional out of hours responsibilities and travel across the UK
- UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required
