We’re looking for a Transition Lead to join the Foundation Learning Team here at East Coast College, to provide a student centred and joined up approach to progression of students with special educational needs.

Collaborating with students, staff, and external services will be key in your role leading student transition. Nurturing students in their journey to East Coast College, encouraging aspirations of students within East Coast College, and supporting students with progression out of East Coast College, will be your main focus.

The Foundation Learning Team offers a supportive network of colleagues, with a wealth of experience and knowledge to help you lead, organise, and “link up” resources and provisions for our students. Through leading the organisation of events and taster sessions both in the college and at local SEN Schools, supporting enrolments and inductions, and carrying out on-going assessments, reviews, and observations, you will provide invaluable support throughout the whole journey.
