More detail about the role: Key Responsibilities: Independently oversee the effective delivery of Care Group governance functions, focusing on quality, patient safety, patient experience, and clinical effectiveness. Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the Care Group governance team, ensuring robust systems, processes, and work programs are in place for the delivery of safe services and effective risk management, in accordance with national and local guidance/policies. Foster a positive safety culture and a continuous improvement ethos across the Care Group, aiming to meet and surpass patient experience, quality, and financial performance targets.

Has a deep understanding of healthcare governance, patient safety practices, and quality improvement methodologies. Demonstrates excellent decision-making abilities, with a capacity to act independently and take timely decisions. Holds exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders and leading change within the organisation. This role represents a unique opportunity to drive quality, safety, and patient experience improvements within a vital area of our NHS Trust.
