Customer Care Specialist
- The Role:

- We now have an excellent opportunity for talented Customer Care Specialists to join our highly successful Specialist Care team. Insurance claims experience is not necessarily essential for this role, as we are looking for people who can demonstrate exceptional communication skills and you may come from a nursing or community care background.
- The role will probably be a flexible mix of home working and office-based work, alongside the requirement to visit our vulnerable customers in their home, and thus a full UK driving licence is essential and a car allowance or company car may be provided.

You will have responsibility for the following tasks:
- Delivering dedicated additional support to vulnerable customers, working alongside the claims handling team, and maintaining the highest levels of customer support and contact-
- Identifying and responding to the customer’s bespoke requirements, ensuring their interests are at the forefront of claims handling decisions-
- Supporting with decisions around aspects such as appropriate alternative accommodation, and guiding customers through the necessary processes, with a tailored approach in response to individual needs-
- Keeping all interested parties fully updated at all stages of the claim in which you are involved-
- Delivering insight sessions, to promote best practice and care to our wider colleagues and clients-
- Keeping accurate daily time recording, demonstrating competence in the role- This is a great opportunity for those who are motivated by the variety of claims and would relish the chance to make a positive difference to the claims journey for our customers and contribute to the network of professionals we work within.
You will have/will be:
- Proven experience within a role delivering care for customers-
- Knowledge of Insurance claims handling would be desirable but not essential for this role. Full training will be provided.-
- Comfortable working to deadlines and in a busy environment-
- A team orientated and practical individual, seeking solutions, best practice and continuous improvement-
- Confident, with both verbal and written communication skills to the highest level-
- Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to contribute and assist others, and the ability to react quickly to changing situations-
- Excellent diary management skills with the capability of prioritising your workload-
- Excellent IT skills, including experience of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint-
- Willingness to maintain competencies and acquire new ones as the need arises-
