**Recruitment Coordinator-Fixed Term (12 Months)**
**Full-Time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday**
**Salary £25,000 -£28,000 per annum, depending on experience**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Coordinator to join the Human Resources team at The Oxford Collection. In a supportive and collaborative role, you will be working alongside the Human Resources Manager, all operational departmental managers and under the strategic guidance of the Head of Human Resources.
As the first point of contact for job applicants, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the recruitment process. You will be proactive in driving and executing the agreed recruitment strategy to ensure we recruit the best talent in hospitality.
The Oxford Collection is a small independently owned group of hotels and restaurants in central Oxford, comprising Gees Restaurant & Bar, the Old Parsonage Hotel, Parsonage Grill, the Old Bank Hotel & Quod Restaurant & Bar.
**Key Responsibilities (but not limited to) Include**:
- Act as a brand ambassador and guardian of standards for the Human Resources department and all identities belonging to The Oxford Collection
- Work closely with the Human Resources Manager and Head of Human Resources to drive and execute all aspects of our recruitment strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with our managers and their teams, providing legally sound guidance relating to all aspects of recruitment, ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to, whilst remaining legally compliant
- To assist with any HR projects and/or tasks as and when required
**Recruitment and Selection**
- Work with the wider management team across all operational departments to prioritise recruitment activity, in order to promote and fill vacancies according to headcount requirements and business needs
- Ensure all vacant positions have an up-to date job advert; containing correct job spec, salary, benefits listing, following employer branding guidelines
- To manage and scrutinise our recruitment advertising and onboarding process
- To pre-screen applicants and assist with interviews when required
- Complete relevant references and obtain reference requests for new employees following job offers, following up when required
- To ensure the relevant right to work checks are carried out at interview or prior to offer of employment being made
- To monitor the recruitment advertising budget ensuring costs are controlled
- To assist with carrying out regular (quarterly/mid-year) industry salary checks and salary benchmarking in order to remain competitive against the Oxford and London markets
- Produce a monthly report of applicant conversion success rates
**Employer Branding**
- To assist Content Creator in updating content and job adverts on the ‘work with us page’ on company website
- Work with the Brand Manager and Head of HR to analyse and report on the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns
**Social Media**
- Assist the Content Creator and Head of Human Resources in creating content relating to recruitment opportunities
- Promote our employer brand stories and identities and market our businesses in a way that fits with brand values
**Digital Employee Journey**
- To assist in the implementation and execution of a digital onboarding platform
- Maintain and make innovative recommendations for improving and streamlining the recruitment processes and standards where required
**Recruitment Coordinator-Person Specification**:
- HR or Hospitality related degree or equivalent would be beneficial
- Qualified (or working towards) CIPD Level 3 or 5
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in recruitment and selection, preferably within a in multi-property organisation in hospitality, leisure or luxury retail
- Experience of working with third party agencies - External recruitment agencies, local job boards and job fairs, universities and colleges
- To possess and maintain an interest and up-to-date knowledge of recruitment trends and news in the hospitality industry
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
- Proactive and ability to work on own initiative
- Possess a gracious, friendly, and professional demeanour
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in hospitality and/or recruitment
- Motivated self-starter with ability to work under own initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access People
- Good knowledge of the principles of GDPR, Data protection Act and associated data security
- Be organised, have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Fluent in written and spoken English with a high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Be eligible to live and work in the UK
