We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Assistant to join our award-winning team.

They will be based in Ratheane with travel working across our North Antrim group homes: Ratheane Care Home (Coleraine), Leabank Care Home, (Ballycastle), Milesian Manor, (Magherafelt)

**An Enhanced Access NI Check is required for this post.**

**About The Role**
- As a Senior Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of our care homes. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance tasks across multiple locations, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and compliant with all relevant regulations. This role requires a high level of expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage resources and prioritise tasks._

**Required Criteria**
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare of senior living environment.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of maintenance staff
- Full driving license and access to your own car for travelling as required.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must have a good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.

**Desired Criteria**
- General knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Previous experience of undertaking PATS testing
- Electrician/plumbing certificate

**Skills Needed**

Delegation, Ability to Identify and Anticipate needs, Plumbing and Pipefitting, Electrical repairs
