**IT & Systems Support Officer - Hessle**

We are currently recruiting for a full-time IT & Systems Support Officer (40hrs) to join our team. As IT & Systems Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the back-office business IT solutions and functions within NL Group. Your role will be providing support to a group of internal staff across several functions including Operations Support, Finance, Compliance, Recruitment, Complex Care and Senior Management. The role is working Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month also.

**Salary**

This role offers a salary of between £22,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience. The role is a permanent contract. We also have a range of employee benefits such as a Health Cash plan and subsidised gym membership at the Village Gym.

**Job Profile**

As IT & Systems Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the back-office business IT solutions and functions within NL Group. Your role will be providing support to a group of internal staff across several functions including Operations Support, Finance, Compliance, Recruitment, Complex Care and Senior Management.

Your primary focus should be to ensure you are successfully prioritising your own workload, remaining productive and working efficiently. You will work as a helpdesk to the business. This role also incorporates working on projects, delivering projects in line with stakeholder expectations or requirements. You should be comfortable communicating at all levels within the business.

The IT & Systems Support Officer will be knowledgeable in technical scenarios, as part of the role will be to deliver on the technical requirements for the Operations Support Team Leader, also assisting with covering annual leave and any absences within the department.

You will be naturally inquisitive in your nature, and always strive to deliver the best outcome for employees of the Group. Always taking a positive approach to business change and driving acceptance of technical projects or changes.

Working as part of a team to ensure that business demands are always met, and a thinking outside of the box approach to business solutions. You will have a natural interest in obtaining procurement opportunities and utilising government schemes for business improvement.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities.**
- Provide ‘1st line’ fault diagnosis.
- Assist staff where system access is an issue.
- Point of contact for Helpdesk enquiries.
- Identify faults and submit ‘2nd line’ requests to our external IT Solutions provider.
- Design complex Excel tools and models such as business reports.
- Create Excel documents for departments/end users such as financial reports with formulas and workflows.
- Maintain the company Operating Knowledge Handbook, in line with company Quality Management Systems
- Production of ‘user guides’ and manuals.
- Deliver training sessions on systems when required, either one to one or as a group.
- Assist in supporting new staff during their induction and probation - in line with training provided.
- Act as a point of contact for any facilities management or queries.
- Work in positive collaboration with other teams/employees.
- Identify and communicate with your line manager any opportunities for improving services across the company.
- Provide data, information and reports to relevant teams and directors.
- Carry out or delegate work to improve the business and in line with Quality Management Systems.
- Provide support with operational tasks when required.
