**Revenues and Benefits - Systems Support Officer**
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Systems Team within Revenues and Benefits. We are looking to recruit a confident, enthusiastic, hardworking individual who is willing to take on a challenge and committed to developing their skills and knowledge.

The role is incredibly varied, and often no two days are the same you will provide an efficient systems support service across various IT systems within the Revenues and Benefits service, which supports the needs of those delivering front-line service provisions.

The role involves assisting with testing of new releases and system upgrades, identifies improvements and resolution to processing issues, provides management information, is responsible for the administration of Searchlight, works closely with the Development and Support Team, and assists with financial risk monitoring via subsidy claims and grant reconciliations.

**The postholder must have**:
- Professional knowledge acquired by relevant experience of IT systems in a Revenues and Benefits or Finance setting.
- developed verbal communication skills to be able to communicate with customers and stakeholders presenting information in a clear and interesting format.
- Ability to interpret information and provide options for problem solving and process improvement.
- You will need to be highly organised and able to manage your time effectively, work on your own initiative under mínimal supervision and able to work as part of the team whilst taking responsibility for your own workload.
- Experience of working towards measured targets and conflicting deadlines, both individually and as a team.
- be flexible and can adapt to a changing environment, both personally and in identifying practices and procedures requiring amendment.
- Ability to be supportive and approachable to colleagues, customers, other departments and outside organisations.
