We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people. We also provide some specialist services for a wider population, including renal services in Medway and Maidstone and a cardiac service for all of Kent based at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Answering telephone calls and transferring to wards, departments.
- First point of contact on reception
- Greeting visitors, staff attending site
- Directing staff/ visitors to wards other areas.
- Manage and monitor patients through their treatment pathway ensuring compliance to RTT, cancer pathways and local waiting time standards.
- Arranging minor oral surgery procedures within an appropriate time.
- Act as a key point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff and outside agencies.
- Responsible for the day to day compiling of waiting lists, the co-ordination of scheduling patients and the effective utilisation of the minor oral surgery clinics.
- The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above._

- Administration experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Microsoft package knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
