**Strategic HR Partner**:
Support the development, drive forward and design, execution and ongoing implementation of the agreed People strategy. Building strong partnerships with business Stakeholders and working collaboratively with others in the People Team to add business value by underpinning and enabling the strategic objectives of the Nedbank Private Wealth International Division (NPWI).

**Role Specific Details**
- Develop and implement People strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Build effective business partnerships and strong relationships within the business proactively and appropriately engaging stakeholders, collaborate with them to understand their People requirements, to provide relevant and coherent solutions to key human resource business needs.

- Advise on employee relations issues, including performance management and employee discipline.
- Develop and implement programs and policies that enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Lead initiatives to attract, develop and retain top talent, including diversity and inclusion programs.
- Monitor and report on People metrics to assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
- Stay up to date with People trends and best practices to continuously improve programs and initiatives.
- Challenge and drive continuous improvement across the People Team with plans, actions and development of both people and culture.
- Continuously create, evolve and support the development and delivery of all people related processes, policies, procedures and frameworks to ensure excellent standards and harmonisation as far as practically possible across the NPWI.
- Support and drive appropriate HR processes to deliver a world class service, ensuring a client centric culture that respects NPWI’s values (Quality, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Development)
- Contribute to the maintenance of a high-performance work environment by providing fit-for-purpose people management processes and advice, sharing knowledge and leveraging solutions through proactive networking and collaboration.
- Ensure awareness, compliance and implementation of all legislative and compliance issues relating to HR.

**Technical Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in People/HR, with at least 3 years in a strategic people role.
- Strong understanding of People/HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Proven track record of building strong partnerships with business leaders.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with People/HR technology and tools.
- Qualified Chartered CIPD Level 7 or proven experience in a similar role
