**The Role**

Due to continued and exciting growth across all functions of the business, a role has emerged for an Asset Recycling Assistant to join our team.

Reporting to the Southern Deployment and Warehouse Manager, the Asset Recycling Assistant is responsible for assisting with the receiving, processing and organising the dispatch of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electrical Equipment recycling) disposal or resale of all hardware collected from client sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring items returned for disposal are clearly marked with the client name, site location & date they were collected
- Identifying and separating items into those potentially containing data from those which have no data storage
- Recording all equipment with data-storage on the disposal system according to agreed process
- Cleaning any equipment being stored for future re-use by the client
- Recording the location and status of each item during disposal process to provide full audit trail
- Data-wiping of all storage devices using the approved process and recording thereof
- Contributing to the wider warehouse team effort by assisting team members and other departments as needed

**Requirements**:

- Flexibility and the capacity to adapt to different tasks
- An interest in technology is highly desirable as is a willingness to learn and take responsibility for your own work
- Any IT qualifications will be an advantage but not essential
- This role will be based at our offices in Chertsey and Addlestone (Surrey) so living close to these sites will be a distinct advantage
- A Valid UK Driving Licence is essential

The role is 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday

**The Package**:

- £20,000 - £22,000 Basic (depending on experience)
