**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Co-ordinator to work in a high-end business services organisation in Shirley Birmingham.

Due to our continued growth, our clients are looking to recruit a new colleague into their highly collaborative Property & Facilities function, to support the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day management of the building.

**What will you be doing as a Facilities Coordinator**:

- Assist in ensuring an effective and efficient service is delivered in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Assist in the management of all company buildings ensuring the sites are compliant, safe and are kept maintained.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance liaising with appointed contractors and external parties.
- Check and maintain site safety records and related statutory.
- Carry out audit & compliance checks, highlighting and addressing any failures or poor practice concerns.
- Support the management team with audit & compliance
- Assisting with the coordination of H&S aspects of maintenance work.
- Update company records with your findings.
- Take ownership of the PPM schedule & Reactive Maintenance jobs

**Key skills/experiences**:

- Must have Driving licence.
- Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role or have proven strong health and safety/compliance skills
- IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
- Always willing to be involved in other activities to achieve company objectives
- Works collaboratively & uses influence to gain resolution of issues
- Demonstrates honesty, loyalty & commitment, and act in a professional and manner when dealing with both internal and external customers
- Work in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures
- Ability to carry out and complete regular audit & compliance checks and reports

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
