We are busier than ever helping to keep the wheels of industry turning and we have an exciting opportunity for a Material Controller to join our Supply Chain team at the National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton. This role will be offered on a Hybridworking arrangement.

As a Material Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained effectively, raising stock replenishment orders and working with network representatives to support them with providing excellent customer service. Material Controllerswill be expected to work closely with key stakeholders including Suppliers, Product Management, Purchasing, Finance and the Warehouse teams and functions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure that the stock depth is optimised
- Work proactively with customer facing team to ensure that product demand is understood and met
- Ensure that all ERP data is accurate and monitor / evaluate consumption and report to line manager
- Process and order customer requests for stock and catalogued items
- Analyse data including historical consumption
- Monitor non-moving or slow-moving stock for review
- Support the wider team and take on responsibilities for other roles when / if required
- Working with Planning and Forecasting system, setting up system parameters for the most efficient stock replenishment
- Regularly validate lead times for all suppliers
- Maintain an up-to-date incoming order book and follow up discrepancies with suppliers
- Support RMF team when needed
- Deliver high availability as defined by the products Velocity code
- Follow up on network / internal stakeholder requests
