Junior Buyer

**The Junior Buyer will be responsible for**:

- Supporting the company Buyer with raising purchase orders
- Ensuring the materials schedules are followed and reviews
- Chasing and expediting deliveries
- Ensure stock and inventory levels are maintained effectively
- Support the Buyer in market research and benchmarking activities
- Liaising with suppliers and assisting in the resolution of any supplier queries / issues
- Ensure supplier database is accurately maintained, with up-to-date pricing information, product specifications and supplier information

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous base-line experience in either a Purchasing Administrator / Purchasing Assistant / Junior Buyer / Materials Controller / Materials Planner role
- Passion and drive to process a career within Procurement
- Confidence in liaising with and negotiating suppliers
- Good analytical skills
