The role:
Fugro is recruiting an IT Support Assistant to join our IT Department in Wallingford. Working closely with the IT team you will provide first-line IT technical support to end-users across multiple offices and escalate to the IT Support Administrators or Systems Professionals where necessary. You will also be responsible for managing your own workload and reporting any system issues within the Fugro IT estate. Daily tasks will helping to resolve helpdesk tickets logged onto our internal system. Ensuring our systems are up to date and patched whilst ensuring security best practices are adhered to. You will be involved in training new and existing staff in the correct use of our IT System and supporting continuous improvement of our process.

What we’re looking for:

- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in supporting end-user equipment, software or services
- Experience working in a busy IT department
- You enjoy using your technical expertise to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- You are confident of your own abilities and can escalate any technical issues in a timely manner
- You are confident using a variety of IT Systems and are comfortable training staff in the correct use
