**Part-time Administrator / Office Work**
We are a plantation shutter company, and our office is based in Orpington, Kent. We are currently looking to hire a part-time administrator /office worker with previous office skill work experience. The working days we require will be Monday to Thursday (and Friday if required to do so). You will also be asked to cover for any holiday period, as and when required to do so, and this will entail you working a full week, Monday to Friday.
**Your Duties will involve**:
- Answering the telephone
- Dealing with customers enquires, requests and complaints
- Booking appointments
- Diary management for consultants and fitters
- Preparing quotes, sales orders and invoices
- Taking customers payments over the telephone
- General office and administration duties Answering the telephone
- Understanding of calculating for quotes (using calculator)
- General office duties

- Microsoft word
- Outlook 365
- Xero Accounting System (training will be given)
- Telephone and good communication skills
Training will be given initially and for any other computer software we operate.
**You will need to have:

- Experience of clerical, administrative and office work
- A good mathematical knowledge and to be able to use a calculator
- Clear thinking and have an analytical approach
- Able to work as part of a team, to promote a good team spirit and to be sensitive
and assertive as appropriate
- Experience in a client facing/customer service position
- To be motivated and able to work independently
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £22,500.00-£23,500.00 per year
Expected hours: 28 per week
