**Overview**:
The Product and Assessments Coordinator at NCC Education plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating the development, administration, and review of qualifications and assessments. This position involves a blend of product management, project coordination, and quality assurance to ensure that qualifications meet regulatory standards and serve the needs of learners.

**Job Purpose**:
To coordinate on aspects of NCC Education’s product and assessment activities. To coordinate the development, maintenance, and review of qualifications and assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Product Development:

- Manage the process of development and revision of qualification products, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all qualifications and associated assessments, including specifications, assessment materials, and guidance documents.
- Maintain the tracking and monitoring of all qualifications during each assessment cycle.

Assessment Coordination:

- Oversee the scheduling, development, and quality assurance of assessment materials, including question papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports.
- Coordinate with the assessment team to ensure timely and secure distribution of assessment materials to centres.
- Manage the process for setting, marking, and moderating examinations and assessments, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure all qualifications and assessments comply with Ofqual's General Conditions of Recognition, Qualification Wales (QiW), IfATE and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and advise on the implications for product and assessment development.

Quality Assurance:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal quality assurance processes, including standardisation and training.
- Monitor feedback from learners, centres, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in qualifications and assessments.
- Participate in internal and external audits and reviews related to qualifications and assessments.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Participate in industry events, webinars, and workshops to promote qualifications and gather market intelligence.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in qualification development, assessment design, or educational product management within or for an awarding organisation. (Essential)
- Understanding of Ofqual's regulatory framework and the principles of valid, reliable, and fair assessment. (Essential)
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. (Essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.(Essential)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards in all aspects of qualification and assessment development. (Essential)
- Proof-reading and editing. (Essential)
- Development of complex documents for external consumption. (Essential)

**Salary**: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
