The Care and Treatment Review (CTR)/Care and Education Treatment Review (CETR) Support Officer has responsibility for providing support to the Performance Manager and the ICB.
- This role requires dealing with complex and sensitive information, liaising with patient, families and clinicians and will ensure that from receipt of a CTR/CETR request, the CTR/CETR process is followed in line with policy to conclusion. The accurate tracking, recording and monitoring of each CTR/CETR request is required and must be adhered to in a timely manner, as outlined in CTR/CETR Policy or ICB contractual agreements, thus avoiding legal challenge.
- To maintain and support management of administrative CTR/CETR systems, CTR/CETR IT databases and software in accordance with CTR/CETR processes, to ensure timely administration and recording. These databases have information with a high degree of complexity and requirement for accuracy. High quality is required for this role in maintaining, updating and checking the CTR/CETR information.
- To provide a full range of business support services for the Learning Disability and Autism Team, including (but not limited to) managing diaries, taking minutes, arranging CTR/CETR meetings and LAEPs with limited notice including the preparation and distribution of supporting documents and clinical reports.
- To provide CTR/CETR specific support tasks, such as arranging feedback with multi-disciplinary panel members at various ICB locations, completion of quality assurance reviews.

This post will work as part of the Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (L&SC ICB) Learning Disability and Autism Team and will be offered on a permanent basis.
The post holder will lead the Care and Treatment Review process, 6-8 weekly Quality Assurance Visits, Local Area Emergency Protocols, Dynamic Support Database meetings, Multi-disciplinary meetings, and additional ad-hoc meetings as required.
This position will work alongside and in close collaboration with our providers, Local Authorities, NHS England, other relevant stakeholders, external organisations and patient groups.
There will be some travel required for this role.

- To maintain relevant databases and spreadsheets often with a high degree of complexity/ accuracy ensuring that they are kept up to date at all times.
- To manage effective and clear communication with providers/commissioners/ patients/clinicians, both verbally and written.
- To advise patients, families, commissioners, GPs and clinicians regarding the CTR/CETR process.
- To provide specific tasks such as the screening of LAEP/CTR/CETR requests against policies.
- To develop and maintain internal and external relationships with a high level of positive effective communication.
- To conduct CTR/CETR activity in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations including contractual agreements.
- To work on own initiative with mínimal supervision, to work flexibly according to workload, and to manage own workload on a day to day basis and to determine priorities in line with the CTR/CETR Policy.
- To operate with the highest level of discretion and maintain confidentiality to attract the full confidence of the Senior Managers, often in connection with sensitive issues.
- To manage and maintain diaries electronically to ensure the efficient planning of daily commitments.
- To maintain, operate and review comprehensive, up-to-date, efficient and accurate manual and electronic filing and archiving systems.
- To attend meetings in support of the CTR/CETR Case Managers, carry out note taking and the transcribing of minutes, accurately and the re-distribution of documentation/actions.
- To support FOI and Complaint requests on behalf of CTR/CETR Case Manager and keep appropriate records for the Discharge Co-ordination Team.
- To carry out audits as and when required for ICBs, NHS England and /or the Quality and Performance Team.
