**Job summary**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 full time administrator to join the Community Paediatric Team based at Friars Gate.

The post holder will have previous experience as an administrator and possess excellent organisation skills, and communications skills to ensure the smooth running of our service day to day. The post holder will be working in conjunction with colleges, patients, service users and internal and external stake holders. Previous knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Main duties will include but are not limited to (see job description);
To schedule patient appointments using the criteria set out by the Trust and the clinical speciality, identifying capacity shortfalls.

Use Trust systems to input electronic data as required.

To exercise initiative and judgement based on acquired knowledge and experience when dealing with enquiries.

Receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries as appropriate.

Input and look up data on Trust IT systems in accordance with Trust policy.

To assist colleagues as directed by the Supervisor/Line Manager in times of pressure of work.

Co-operate in the introduction of new technology and new working practices to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Photocopying, Scanning and filing letters and documents as required.
