Glamorgan, United Kingdom Digital Health and Care Wales Full time

Our Organisation

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an organisation established by Welsh Government to lead on the digital transformation of health and care within NHS Wales. It builds on the digital architecture and national services put in place by the NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS) over the past decade.

The organisation leads on large-scale developments that make a significant difference to the people of Wales, as well as to health and care professionals. One of DHCWs key objectives is to improve the way data is collected, shared, and used, to try and improve our services, whilst also encouraging a Once for Wales approach to service delivery.

DHCW has embarked on several new development projects, and these, together with our existing development portfolio represents an exciting time to be joining the organisation and support the development and provision of key clinical information systems across NHS Wales.

The Role

The role of Primary Care Services Lead provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and passionate operational services manager to have a significant impact on the digital transformation of primary healthcare services through being responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a large portfolio of primary care digital services, including client account management, national implementation, training and business change.

This post offers experience in all aspects of operational and strategic delivery of primary care digital services and will be pivotal in driving forward the sustainable change and service improvement of our operational systems and services and management of our key service partners and suppliers.

You will have proven yourself in previous senior roles to be a self-motivated and engaging leader committed to supporting effective and efficient operational delivery and a champion of service improvement and benefits realisation.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
