You will provide PA support to the midwifery matrons.
An opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and flexible PA/administrator to support the midwifery matrons.
The role will a variety of different functions with every day being different. Each day will present unexpected challenges and therefore a flexibly minded experienced administrator who can adapt to changing demands is essential.
The post holder will need to be reliable and resilient and able to manage competing priorities. She/he/they will ensure that the managers have support to maintain an organised role. As well as the usual functions of a PA knowledge of audit and recruitment support will be an advantage.
If you have experience of working in a busy environment, possibly within a healthcare setting supporting a management team then this role could be suitable for you.

**The post holder will**:
Demonstrate proficient usage of the Trust Information Systems to support the data collection needed, including the Trust and Maternity Information Systems
Knowledge of Microsoft teams and other virtual platforms to arrange and support the administration of meetings
Ability to take accurate notes and manage an action log
Be able to use all Trust Information Systems effectively, including searches for detailed information
Take the lead working with the management team for maintaining and ensuring accurate inputting of data
Be able to manage the archiving process in line with national recommendations of the storage for information
Provide clerical support for the senior midwives and department, e.g. typing minutes, letters, statements and minutes
Support the Maternity Matrons with validation of payment challenges/ invoices
To support the senior management team with general administrative tasks
Ensure RTW interviews are arranged for the staff with the appropriate Senior Midwife/Matron
Support the Senior Midwives and Midwifery Matron to obtain notes as part of complaints, incidents and adverse events
Be competent and proficient to use the e-procurement system, understanding its purpose and how to procure supplies for clinical work
Responsible for ordering all non-clinical stores
Manage the shared-drive information folders, including version control of the document, including practice tools and labels and ensuring that only the latest versions are in circulation
