Edinburgh, United Kingdom Turner & Townsend Full time

**Company Description**
At Turner & Townsend we’re passionate about making the difference. That means delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and doing our part to create a prosperous society.

The Performance Forum, managed by Turner & Townsend, is a leading provider of benchmarking services to the upstream industry. We benchmark upstream project performance on a range of cost, schedule, technical and project complexity metrics. Additionally, we encourage industry collaboration through study groups, case studies, workshop events and webinars. With over 20 members, the Performance Forum has been a respected advisor to the upstream oil and gas industry for over 30 years.

As a Performance Forum Consultant, you will be focused on identifying emerging cost and schedule trends across all facility types, understanding drivers of project cost overruns, highlighting areas of risk, and providing independent benchmarking studies to our clients.

Typical responsibilities associated with this role will include, but are not limited to:

- Review and analysis of oil and gas project data submitted by clients to produce high quality benchmarking reports and metrics.
- Present analysis findings and consulting studies to clients, either online or in person.
- Establish good working relationships with colleagues both within the Performance Forum team and the wider Turner & Townsend organisation.
- Organise and participate in client meetings and workshops for clients in USA, Europe, Asia and Australia.
- Support the preparation of consulting proposals.
- Support knowledge sharing within the team and the wider Natural Resources division.
- Contribute to achieving a positive team culture.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

**Qualifications**
- Relevant upstream experience gained in either an industry or research/consulting environment.
- Sound knowledge of upstream development concepts, production facilities and decommissioning.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Proven data handling capability (strong competency in MS Excel is essential, exposure to Tableau would be an advantage).
- Ability and drive to identify opportunities to improve data handling, analytical processes, and analysis outputs.
- Experienced with managing workload to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
- We are a small team so a collaborative approach to working is essential.

**Additional Information**
Our inspired people share our vision and mission. We provide a great place to work, where each person has the opportunity and voice to affect change.

We want our people to succeed both in work and life. To support this we promote a healthy, productive and flexible working environment that respects work-life balance.
