About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Sustainability and Carbon team within the UK Environment and Health business unit at Ramboll. As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key member of our team, working on projects that contribute to a more sustainable future.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading or supporting projects delivering carbon accounting assessments, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, setting targets, develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and net-zero roadmaps tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Lead or support projects delivering carbon accounting assessments, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, setting targets, develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and net-zero roadmaps tailored to client needs.
  2. Identifying Potential Client Leads: Proactively identifying potential client leads, and collaboratively contribute to the expansion of our carbon and net zero advisory services.
  3. Staying Informed: Stay informed about evolving regulations, policies, and reporting frameworks related to carbon accounting and net zero strategies.
  4. Workshops and Training: Support or conduct workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building activities for client teams.
  5. Industry Forums: Participate in industry forums, conferences, and working groups to network, exchange knowledge, and contribute to thought leadership.
  6. Wider Sustainability Projects: Engage in wider sustainability projects that could include Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Carbon management in infrastructure projects, sustainability services, and whole life carbon assessments (LCAs).
  7. Knowledge Sharing: Support training and knowledge sharing with junior staff.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in sustainability and carbon management, preferably with experience in leading or supporting projects related to carbon accounting, net zero strategies, and sustainability advisory services.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients. They will also be highly motivated, with a passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future.
