Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working on behalf of one of our global manufacturing clients based in York, who are currently going through an exciting period of change.
My client is looking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate Finance Treasury Assistant to assist with the day-to-day treasury administration as part of the Treasury team dealing with cash management, reporting, hedging administration, cash controls, bankadministration and payments.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Treasury Assistant will include:

- Assist in day-to-day treasury activities (setting up payments, etc.)
- Maintain bank mandates / signatories / BACS limits
- Ensure statutory payments are made on time
- Ensuring appropriate authorisation levels are in place and are effective including monitoring of on-line authority levels and bank mandates
- Working with the Group Tax and Treasury Manager with regarding to completing routine bank correspondence and maintaining a good working relationship with our banking partners
- Reviewing bank charges
- Maintain cashbook for the primary operating business
- Control and reconciliation of Group inter-company payments
We would love to speak to anyone with the below Key Skills & Experience:

- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above / Minimum A Level or equivalent education
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/AAT or willing to study
- Solid understanding of various software packages including MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of working in a similar role in a treasury or finance function
- Strong work experience examples of incredible attention to detail to catch errors
- Analyses numerical data, verbal data and all other sources of information
