We are currently looking to recruit **Support Workers** to join our Wembley homes working up to **40 hours per week**. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to start a new structured career path working within a challenging yet exciting, fast paced position, delivering support to young people, in their own home, who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

With more than several years in the field of social care, Stonelake have provided an experienced support for children and young people in their local communities delivering a tailored approach to each child and a flexible care for those with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties who are emotionally vulnerable and occasionally challenging.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the rights of the young people are upheld and promoted at all times in accordance with the principles of choice, respect, dignity and privacy.
- Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy.
- Ensure that if there are significant changes to individual service users’ needs these are raised with the Service Manager.
- Promote young people’s involvement in all areas including service delivery, quality assurance and organisational development.
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal colleagues and external bodies alike.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of social emotional and behavioural difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support.
- Able to inspire and encourage young people to engage in all aspects of daily living.
- An empowering, approachable and resilient worker.
- Confident, influential and inspiring.

**Salary**: From £11.00 per year
