We are recruiting a part-time purchase ledger clerk on behalf of a well-known manufacturing organisation that has been established in Leicester for nearly 130 years.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Preparation of payment runs for review and processing (multiple currencies / banking systems)
- Obtain authorisation on invoices from Production / Purchasing Departments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Record and analyse carrier postage costs for allocation across business units prior to posting
- Customer and client supplier query resolution
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience of high volume and UK / overseas purchase ledger
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience of using accounting software packages (Navision desirable)
- Strong excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUP's desirable)

**Hours**:

- 30 per week (flexible on working a 4 or 5 day week)

**Salary and benefits**:

- £25,000 pro-rata
- 20 days + 8 bank holidays (pro-rata - full working week 37.25 hours)
- Statutory pension
