We are currently recruiting for a Database Administrator to join a busy and expanding employee owned business.

As the Database Administrator (DBA) you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation's database systems to ensure they operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. You will also work closely with the Software Engineering team and various stakeholders to design, implement, and manage database solutions that support business operations and growth objectives.
- Install, configure and upgrade database systems including SQL and Oracle databases
- SQL Azure
- Backup and recovery
- Performance Tuning
- Database security
- Database upgrades and patch management
- Industry Certifications such as OCP / Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator would be beneficial.

As this company is growing their CI / CD and DevOps improvement programme experience in this area would be highly desirable but not essential.

Any experience with Linux based operating systems would also be advantageous as would past leadership skills as you will also be responsible for a Database Application Developer.

This role will be based from the Kettering office on a hybrid basis working 1-2 days per week in the office.

In return we are offering a competitive salary of £50-60K plus benefits including yearly bonus, pension, 25 days annual leave and many more benefits.
