**Job purpose**

The Head of PMO plays a critical role in leading change management strategy, with the aim to align people, process, and technology initiatives working with functions to delivery enterprise-wide solutions into the Bank. The role will be responsible for setting, developing and overseeing the implementation of the strategic standard delivery methodology for the Bank.

Leading a team of change professionals, the individual will be responsible for the project management, portfolio alignment, change management and business analyst capability Bank-wide, overseeing all change initiatives.

The role defines the road map and objectives that the Bank’s Operations Committee and Programme Board oversee; additionally ensuring that the project governance framework is embedded within the COO function, as well as across the organisation through a portfolio of projects and initiatives.

**Core responsibilities**:

- Oversees the Bank’s portfolio of projects, change initiatives programme and project delivery, ensuring that initiatives are aligned to the delivery of the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- Lead and develop a team of programme and project professionals to ensure that initiatives are sufficiently prioritised and resourced. This will include Project Managers, Change Managers and Business Analyst functions.
- Sets the framework for risks and issues management across the portfolio, ensuring that the Operations Committee and Executive Members are sighted on key points for escalation in a timely fashion.
- Ensure the production of cross functional accurate, transparent, and quality management information which can be utilised for key decision making by the Board and Executive Committee.
- Lead the proactive review the portfolio on an on-going basis, identifying any potential issues and taking appropriate action to ensure these are addressed.
- Act as the strategic lead on the continuous improvements of the organisation.
- Own and manage the Bank’s development roadmap which is shared with Executive Committee, the Board and Shareholders.
- Management of the Operations Committee and Programme Delivery Board so that it operates effectively.
- Overseeing of activity relating to governance and supporting COO initiatives in order to ensure compliance as well as actively facilitating wider governance activity led by General Counsel.

**Required behaviours, experience and technical Skills**:
