**We are responsible for**:

- Digital, Data and Technology Strategy and Standards, like the Technology Code of Practice, the Service Standard and Open Standards
- Cross-government DDaT performance and assurance, including Spend Controls
- DDaT Capability Development, including the DDaT pay framework

**In the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Workforce and Capability team we are responsible for**:
The Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Workforce and Capability team is focused on ensuring that government has the right people to deliver digital transformation and meet the significant challenges that it will face in coming years. We aim to turbocharge our ability to attract, recruit, grow and retain world leading digital talent who will go on to develop game changing public services. This challenge is one of the most pressing and exciting in government, and one that is critical to government modernisation and reform.

We are a dynamic and growing team of capability and DDaT professionals who form a pivotal part of the CDDO. We are committed to building and continually developing a culture that is inclusive, enthusiastic, supportive, and ultimately a place where our people can perform and develop to their very best. It is important that your personal value set aligns with this ambition.

Our priorities are the development and build of:

- ** A unified DDaT career and reward framework for government. **Design and facilitate cross government adoption of a unified DDaT career and remuneration framework that partners standardised role profiles, skill requirements and skill assessments for DDaT professionals with a competitive pay framework that is applied across government.
- ** A single front for DDaT recruitment**. Design and implement a single front door for DDaT recruitment that simplifies and standardises DDaT recruitment to reduce current and future reliance on contingent labour and time to hire.
- ** GovTech Academy.** Build and scale existing training to service government’s need to upskill non-DDaTers as well as radically transform the skills of existing DDaT professionals, underpinned by the development of a high-yielding talent pipeline from across the UK.
- ** A DDaT Strategic Workforce Plan**. Cohere a single workforce dataset and establish common digital capability sourcing principles and contingent labour controls to support the development of a DDaT Strategic Workforce Plan.

**Job description**:
As the DDaT Resourcing Lead you will focus on maintaining and developing the DDaT Resourcing offer at both delegated and SCS level. You will work across the Workforce Strategy and Transformation team to develop a clear, consistent employee value proposition to attract and retain top talent from across industry, the charity sector and within government. Not only will you lead the development and deployment of our attraction strategy, you will also design and own the central government recruitment contract for DDaT, a profession with over 23,000 members. This work will draw on revitalised DDaT branding, an updated DDaT remuneration offer and DDaT Career Pathways, and will broker a cutting edge user experience for both applicants and vacancy holders alike.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of designing and delivering an enhanced attraction strategy and supporting recruitment experience for DDaT professionals that supports the rapid development of digital and data capability across government. You will give advice to departments, understand their workforce plans and recruitment and retention needs and help them find the right solution to meet these needs, coordinating with the wider DDaT Workforce and Capability Team.

As Resourcing Lead you will:

- Develop a robust memorandum of understanding and supporting service level agreements between departments and cross government services to deliver a consistent DDaT recruitment experience for applicants and vacancy holders alike
- Develop and facilitate recruitment contracts with providers such as Government Recruitment Service
- Design and procure an enhanced vetting service on behalf of the DDaT profession
- Support departments to adopt, implement and evolve the DDaT Recruitment
