General Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance professional to join our team. As a General Maintenance worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This is a full-time position.

**Duties**:

- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with external contractors when needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and completed tasks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team effectively
- Basic welding skills are preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
