We are looking to add another staff member to our friendly team. The company is looking for someone who wants to be an integral part of a growing business, this is a long term career for the right person.

Good work ethic, reliability and professionalism are key.

The work is predominately garden/grounds maintenance, with some soft landscaping, we work for a mix of clients, from high end country estates on farms and agricultural land to built up commercial work within the retail sector.

Hours: 30-40 per week. Monday to Friday. 08:00am-16:00pm. Overtime and weekend work available during peak seasons.

As this is an apprenticeship role, you will come to college for training. Please consider how you will commute to and from Plumpton College.

Due to the nature of the work, own transport is advisable.

- **What will the apprentice be doing?**_
- Grounds maintenance, grass cutting, trimming, hedge cutting, bed and border maintenance amongst other standard maintenance tasks.
- Assisting in fencing works from time to time.
- Working within a team to maintain a variety of sites to our clients requirements.
- **What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**_

Level 2 Horticulture or landscape construction operative apprenticeship, including:

- Emergency first aid: Level 3 award in emergency first aid at work.
- Pesticides: Level 2 Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides Guidance OR Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides
- English and maths: Apprentices without level 2 English and maths must achieve level 1 and take the test for level 2 before taking the end-point assessment.
- Training at Plumpton College will be one day per week during term time
- You will achieve an intermediate apprenticeship upon successful completion of your end point assessment
