**Other duties and responsibilities of the role include**:

- Dealing with calls from patients and calling them if appropriate.
- Writing to them where necessary to chase payment or sending out reminders that they need to be seen for routine check-ups or further dental treatment.
- Using a diary/computerised diary system to book, switch and cancel appointments.
- General administration tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, printing and sorting/filing/sending forms.
- Handling payment from patients (cash, cards and cheques).
- Undertaking other non-clinical tasks of an administrative nature.
- To provide complimentary assessments to relevant patients; discussing their needs, treatment options and costs that are available
- To ensure marketing and campaigns are fully utilised to ensure maximum success (including events management)
- To build relationships with referring dental practices and clinicians to promote Care Dental Group's services
- To utilise social medial platforms to reach out to patients and broaden practice exposure

**The attributes we feel are required are**:

- Qualified Dental Nurse with an active GDC regitration
- Well organised
- Adaptive to modern techniques and software
- A team player
- Hard working and motivated
- Patient orientated, with a focus on delivering excellence in all areas of the patient journey
- Willingness to learn and self develop
- Someone with a Sales/Marketing background, Dental knowledge is desirable but not essential
- A self-starter who can organise and prioritise their own workload to maximise sales from private treatments
- Excellent customer service skills developed in a customer focused environment
- A passion for delivering excellent commercial results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
