Foreign Trade Administrator

We are looking for a fantastic administrator to join an innovative business which is rapidly moving into the future of digital transformation.
In this role, you will support the Foreign Trade team in specific administration tasks arising from Brexit. The goal is to ensure compliance standards and international trade compliance regulations for duty and customs controls.

The position of Foreign Trade Administrator will be for a temporary period of 6 months and will be looking to pay up to £26,000pa. You will be based in a small team at their offices in St. Neots and will be carrying out the following day-to-day duties:
- Collection of the necessary documentation to support the reclaim of duty paid to HMRC in 2021
- Identification of applicable shipments
- Retrieval of the relevant customs entry, import declaration, delivery note and invoice
Import/export experience as well as customs knowledge is not essential, however extremely desirable. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with a keen eye for detail and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
