We are seeking a highly skilled Quality System Engineer to join our Measurement business unit.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, revising, and implementing technical protocols and methods to ensure the quality of in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.

Your role involves maintaining compliance with company quality assurance standards and government regulations, conducting analyses, identify trends in the inspection process, and recommending corrective actions as needed.

This role is based on our production site in Tunbridge Wells, with the possibility of a hybrid work mode.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Document control for welding operations including the establishment and management of document database ( DocMan)
- Reviewing and advising on vendor's WPS's in accordance with customer/technical requirements.
- Reviewing and advising on 3rd party NDT inspections and providing assistance to projects on NDT operations.
- Liaising and acting as a key contact for various class and certification 3rd parties (DNV etc.) and customers in relation to welding and fabrication.
- Visiting various vendor's locations including overseas projects ITP activities and premises for QA purposes (audit, inspection, assistance) to ensure welding and fabrication works are carried out in accordance with relevant BS/ISO/ API/ PED, etc standards and customers' requirements.
- To give practical and technical welding and fabrication QA guidance, support, assistance to project engineering and operations.
- To manage and ensure that consumables and equipment used in vendor's welding and fabrication works is appropriately certified, calibrated/maintained with records available where appropriate, also the same for our internal equipment and certification.
- Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications related to fabrication, welding, coating, and PED/PER jobs related. Assist to reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met.
- Assist and participate in setting standards for quality.
- Assist and participate Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff and Quality control inspectors.
- To assume overall responsibility and oversight for welding and fabrication quality assurance within the business.
- Own the QMS development and maintaining all procedures and work instructions of the QMS.
- Prepare and present the annual quality management review to the leadership.
- Lead the NCR analysis, RCA and corrective actions.
- Lead all external audits such as ISO9001-2015, PED/PER and customer audits.

**The Individual**
- Engineering degree or equivalent would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in the quality system is essential, ideally in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must have knowledge of either working within or implementing an ISO:9001 management system.
- A strong background and knowledge of welding and fabrication best practice and associated BS/ISO/ API standards.
- Knowledge of EN1090, PED/PER, ATEX/ IECEx and CE Marking would be beneficial.
- Fluent in professional/technical English.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Willing to travel up to 20% of time within the UK and overseas.
