**Role: SEN Learning Support Worker**
**Hours: Mon-Thur 8-4pm**
**Salary: £13.69 per hour**
**Duration: Term time temporary**
The Aurora provision is South Thames Colleges Group's specialist, non-residential FE centre for young adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities who may have Autism, behaviours of concern or complex support needs. The provision is designed to bea safe, secure and welcoming environment for our students. They share a dedicated specialist team who work together to deliver bespoke education, therapy and training for young adults from 16 to 25 years of age.
**The Learning Support Role**:
- Supporting learners with moderate-severe learning difficulties/challenging behaviour to reach their academic potential
- Creating and reviewing SMART goals
- Supporting learners aged 16+
**What You Will Need**:
- Good Written & Verbal Communication
- Previous SEN/Challenging Behaviours experience (PMLD & SEND - ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome etc.)
- Experience with Personal Care or Manual Handling
**Previous expereince in a similar role**:
- Youth support worker

- SEND youth worker
- Youth care worker
