We are currently seeking experienced individuals to join this team in the role of Human Resources (HR) Senior Consultant.

As a HR Senior Consultant, you are in the driving seat, your thought leadership and creativity will enable HSBC to accelerate into the future. You will be accountable for managing the successful delivery of large-scale HR programmes and initiatives that support the business strategy as set out in the strategic people priorities. No day will be the same, you will have a diverse portfolio to deliver with a variety of stakeholders across HR and the business areas of Wealth and Personal Banking and Global Functions with the ability to tap into HR specialists to deliver pragmatic solutions. The role holder will be involved in leading, providing objective advice and expertise on HR multi-disciplinary projects/programs aligning with the long-term business vision and strategy for Retail Business & Strategy.

In this role, you will:

- Establish and review key strategic priorities and translate them into actionable and measurable plans for end-to-end implementation. Lead identification and assessment of transformational/ strategic initiatives to establish structured practices across the functions; enable adoption/implementation.
- Own and manage complex portfolios of work along with planning and execution activities for the assigned function/business ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery by building and directing workplans, timelines and budgets.
- Design controls for managing and monitoring scope issues, schedule over-runs, risks, and inter-dependencies for effectively managing program delivery.
- Partner with key stakeholders for defining, executing and measuring the effectiveness of people plans while also acting as an advisor to Head of HR and Executive Committee. Support key stakeholders to cascade the long-term people strategy to actionable people outcomes which include (but not limited to): Organization simplification and agility through various programs specific to global line of businesses (Wealth and Personal Banking and global functions) along with designing and execution of targeted programs.
- Design and monitor processes for promoting values such as trust and collaboration, learning agility and well-being within the team. Lead a team of consultants while managing different projects/initiatives and enable growth and management of talent to critical leadership roles.

- You thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere, with exceptionally good analytical skills, to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives.
- You have core consulting skills and have strong influencing skills with prior experience of engaging with senior global stakeholders.
- You are a critical thinker and can evaluate and interpret the problem leading to logical solutions and reasoning for effective decision making.
- You deliver with excellence using programme management methodologies.
- You know how to achieve goals with and through others.

The base location for this role is London, 8 Canada Square, but we work in a Hybrid way.
