We have been instructed on a Finance & Office Manager opportunity on behalf of a Professional Services firm in Central Brighton.
This opportunity would suit an experienced MAAT Finance Manager or Bookkeeper with strong management accounts experience looking for a varied role, offering lots of flexibility. Part time also considered.
The role will involve managing the internal finance function, involving the preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT returns, double entry bookkeeping, purchase & sales ledger, processing expenses, BACs payments, bank reconciliations and knowledge ofXero &/ or Quickbooks would be beneficial.
This position can also include office management responsibilities involving supporting the rest of the team and company's directors depending on the individual's preferences.
Ourt client is offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package, flexible working, pension, holiday entitlement and part time considered.
**Responsibilities**:
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Double entry bookkeeping
Bank reconciliations
Purchase & Sales Ledger
Processing BACS payments
Credit Control
Office management
**Requirements**:
ACCA Qualified or MAAT
Proficient in management accounts preparation
Strong double entry bookkeeping skills
Exeprienced user of accountancy software (xero, quickbooks)
Good communication skills
