DescriptionAs Interim Finance Manager at Tillo you'll take complete ownership of the month-end management accounts process and reporting during a 6 month contract. 

You will contribute to developing a finance team that is of the highest operational quality for a fast growing, FinTech business. There will be projects across the Finance team to get involved in, as well as managing the hand overs at the beginning and end of the contract.

If successful, you will
  • Produce monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for Financial Controller review and sign off
  • Prepare financial statements for audit requirements
  • Support the annual audit process and deliverables
  • Aid with tax compliance (VAT, R&D, PAYE and corporation tax) for the group together with ensuring all payment deadlines are met
  • Look after finance operations of the department specifically purchase ledger control activities, international control and external query management
  • Ensure that reconciliations are complete, investigating and resolving differences
  • Resolve queries that arise from internal and external sources
  • Assist in the implementation of finance system and enhancements to the Tillo system
  • Ensure the highest level of financial control is adhered to within the team together with nominal ledger integrity and accuracy
  • Support the Financial Controller with key information for strategic planning and delivery of finance and other technical projects
  • Build effective relationships with external advisors and key stakeholders

About youYou're a fully qualified, experienced Accountant with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. A natural problem solver, with proven & demonstrable technical ability.

You are available to start within 1-2 weeks, and able to work from our Hove office on Monday's & Wednesday's.

To be successful in this role, you'll need: 
  • Proven & demonstrable technical ability, including problem solving and reconciliation resolution
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Advanced excel skills
  • A customer focused approach
  • Solid experience in the preparation of international consolidated month-end accounts
  • Management experience 
And, it'd be great (but not essential) if you have some experience with: 
  • Netsuite
  • Working in a fast growth, FinTech environment
