The job is for 7 hours per week (negotiable) plus support at planned Trustee & Grants Panel Meetings.

Reporting to the Grants Manager

**Key Objectives of the role**:

- Co-ordinate the day to day administration of the Cumbria Waste Management Environment Trust Office ensuring quality systems and procedures are maintained.
- Assist Grants Manager to deliver the Landfill Communities Fund Scheme (LCF)

**Duties**:

- To provide support to the Grants Manager, members of the Trust and the Grant Advisory Panel
- To ensure that the project monitoring and financial records are kept up to date for the LCF grant scheme and that they comply with any legislative and audit requirements.
- To service committees by co-ordinating the preparation of agendas, taking minutes at grant advisory panel meetings, preparing records, preparing reports and ensuring timely circulation to the relevant people.
- Maintaining records, monitoring and evaluating. To maintain databases and information management systems to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the grants scheme.
- To undertake administration duties for the Trust
- Co-ordinate attendance of CWMET staff or Trustees at promotional and other events as necessary
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with relevant agencies, partners and press
- To be involved in furthering the organisation’s commitment to Health & Safety, equal opportunities and environmental awareness and responsible practices
- Any other duties commensurate with the grading and the key objectives of the post

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
