**Salary Range: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year**

Are you an experienced Finance & Payroll Assistant with proficiency in Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Finance Assistant in Carlisle. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for various finance duties, including payroll processing, purchase ledger management, and assisting with month-end processes.

Responsibilities: Managing the purchase ledger function, ensuring accurate recording and processing of invoices. Processing weekly payroll, including associated journals and reconciliations. Assisting with month-end processes, such as accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve any finance-related queries. Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required. Skills and Qualifications: Proactive, hands-on, and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. AAT Level 3 qualification is preferred, but qualified by experience (QBE) will be considered. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using Sage Payroll, Sage Accounts, and Construct. Strong Excel skills (intermediate level as a minimum). Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an accounts office. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills.
